XANADU Cast to perform at Splash Bar (July 23)

The cast of the new Broadway musical Xanadu will perform at Splash Bar in Manhattan July 23.

As part of Scott Nevins' Curtain Call series at the popular dance club, the Xanadu company will perform songs from the musical following the weekly "Musical Mondays" video presentations of Broadway performances. The Xanadu concert is scheduled for 11:30 PM.

Xanadu co-stars Kerry Butler as Kira and Cheyenne Jackson as Sonny with Tony Roberts as Danny Maguire/Zeus, Curtis Holbrook as Thalia, Anika Larsen as Euterpe, Kenita Miller as Erato, Mary Testa as Melpomene/Medusa, Jackie Hoffman as Calliope/Aphrodite, André Ward as Terpsicore and Marty Thomas as a Featured Skater. The musical plays the Helen Hayes Theatre.

Splash Bar is located in Manhattan at 50 West 17th Street. Admission is free until 10 PM; there is a $5 charge after that time. Attendees must be 21 or older with identification.

I doubt it. ( I hope I'm wrong) bec. he will be in CT doing the Eugene O' Neil Festival.

I am guessing- they'll probably perform.."I'm Alive" & "E-Evil Woman"

Current Xanadu star Cheyenne Jackson and Company's Elizabeth Stanley will appear in the casts of the new musicals this summer at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Music Theatre Conference.

Red Eye of Love (July 21, 22, 25 and 27)

Book and lyrics by Arnold Weinstein and John Wulp; music by Jan Warner
Ted Sperling directs a cast that features Cheyenne Jackson, Elizabeth Stanley, Joe Grifasi, Cole Burden, Kimberly Chesser, Harris Doran, Anne Kittredge, Jason Ma, Monique Midgette and Paul Stovall. Music director is Rob Berman.
Based on a play by Arnold Weinstein, this "zany musical comedy about America [is] set against a background of war, depression and economic boom times [and] follows the wacky adventures of Wilmer Flange, a young idealist; O.O. Martinas, owner of the world's largest meat department store; and Selma Chargesse, the woman they both love. In doing so, it takes a hard look at the effects of love and money upon our lives."
