Hey Guys,
I was wondering if yall could help me by answering some questions. I am trying to see Xanadu in the summer and I heard about these on-stage seats. How are they? What does this whole process entail? I heard something about glowsticks? lol If yall could clear up what this is all about I would appreciate it! Also are they good seats? I know its rear-view but is it still good (especially for the price)?
Also - when is the next block of tickets going to go up on Telecharge? It is only up till May 4th I believe... any idea when the rest will be posted?
Oh and also - any ideas how long Kerry and Cheyenne are going to be in the cast for?
Anyway I am sorry - I am sure yall are asked these questions time after time, so please forgive me. Thanks for reading this and for any help you can provide.

I can only answer the glowstick question for you because I didnt sit on-stage but rather 3rd row in the orch. They hand you a glowstick before the show, instruct you not to use it unitl the end, and about halfway through the last song "Xanadu" everyone cracked them and waved them around. People on stage were up on their feet, some dancing, some singing alone, some swaying, others just standing.
Also, from what I could tell. The two end sections of on-stage seats are side-view, but there isnt a lot of cast interaction. If you're hoping for cast interaction, like cast members touching you, sitting next to you, I would sit in the two middle upstage sections (rear-view) in the front rows closest to the center aisle. A lot of cast members enter and exit through there. Again, the amount of cast interaction may differ from show to show but I did see Mary Testa rub some man's shoulders, another man's hair, etc. If you go to the show site, xanaduonbroadway, they have a new feature under the column 'xanadube' about stage design and you can see exactly how the onstage seats work and little fake people sitting in the seats.
A lot of people on here have mentioned that if it's your first time it's best to see it from the front, which I did and loved. I would probably save on stage seats if you see the show for a second time, but it's up to you. Also, I would get there early. I got there at 1:35 for a 2:00 show, and when I sat in my seat I could already see people seated on stage.
