There's no way of knowing..... you just go at 6 and see what you get. really, no one is going to be looking at YOU.

There was no line when I went, on a Thursday night, but they DO NOT guarantee tickets. If they sell all the on-stage seating at the regular price, then there are no student tickets left to sell. And if you show up much later than 6... well, just don't, is all :)

I did student rush on saturday night. Got there around 6:30 and with my friend we were able to get 3 tickets in the 9th row all the way to the right. I assume they just give whatever tickets they have left. Great show btw, lots of fun.

Sitting onstage at Xanadu had to have been one of the most entertaining nights I've had at the theater ever... and I've seen lots and lots of shows. It is def worth the rush money and I can't wait to do it again!

If you’re going for a matinee, do you get there when the box office opens or at noon?

Cant wait to see this on my next visit. Does anyone in NY pay full price for tickets?
