I'm auditioning for a production of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown at the end of the month and I'm not sure what part to go for/ what to sing at my audition. I don't currently have anything comedic in my repertoire, on account of being lazy.
BTW, I'm a lyric baritone, here are a few clips of me singing... yep.
Eponine's Errand:

If anyone could steer me towards a role or song, I'd be forever indebted. I took out the 'Broadway Comedy Classics' sheet music from the library, but the search came up fruitless.

I can't seem to delete it. Alright. I wasn't to blame for this, I guess.
HELP!

Posted: 2/5/05 at 10:47amThanks. I received 'Philip Quast: Live at the Donmar' in the mail yesterday and it's the best thing I've listened to in a while. I don't know if you're familiar with him, but he's an Australian baritone who is apparently a Bruce Springsteen fan. He does keyed-down, piano accompanied covers of 'I'm On Fire' and 'The River', as well as 'Every Breath You Take'. Beautiful.

You can actually listen to 20 second clips of said album here.

I just got the role of CB in a production of YAGMCB. I did "Corner of the Sky" from Pippin. Charlie Brown only goes up to an F I believe, but you might want to check me on that. I know Snoopy goes up to a B flat and Linus goes up to an F as well ...
Pick a happy song since YAGMCB is a happy kids show. Good luck. :)

I decided to sing 'Grow for Me' from Little Shop of Horrors. It only goes up to an F but it has an E flat at the end held for 8 bars (!)
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.
