Hi all !
I am quite happy today ! I was lucky and got great seats for the shows I will see in London on my trip from May 3 to May 7 ! Of course, maybe it helped that I was searching for single tickets, but still, getting so great seats just two weeks before is quite unusual to me ! All of the seats are in Orchestra (or Stalls as they are called in London), dead center and from rows 3-5 !!!
So, Tuesday I am seeing Mary Poppins, Wednesday The Woman in White, Thursday matinee Billy Elliot and Friday Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ! Maybe I'll also see We Will Rock you on Thursday evening but i will decide it on the spot ! I am really excited and can't wait to go, have fun and then post my reviews for all my friends here !!!!
Take care
have fun and tell us how they were
Awesome seats! Congrats! Have fun!

hey for you... too bad you're not going to be there for ttb with nph!
too many initials right there for my brain to hold.
Wow! Did you go to TM.co.uk or Seetickets, GMF?

Woo hoo! If you get a chance to, you should see We Will Rock You. It's a really lame show, but the music is brilliant!
Ooh, it is a shame you are going to miss ttB! I can't wait to hear how that goes!
Type A Tiff, definetely try Seetickets, if you haven't made your reservations already !!! I made all my bookings except Poppins with them ! Waaaaayyy better seats available than horrible Ticketmaster ! The only good seats Ticketmaster had, were for We Will Rock You, but it was the only show not available to International customers, go figure ! And Chrysanthemum, I will probably give We will Rock You a try, because I absolutely LOVE Queen's music !!!
Take care
west end theatre overload! yay!! have fun and tell us all about it :)
No Les Mis?
Tsk Tsk...I would probably see that everyday if I went to London
Havwe fun. I saw WOMAN IN WHITE and MARY POPPINS Christmas week.
You will also love how beautiful those two theatres (Palace and Prince Edward) are so, go early enough so you can enjoy the total experience. I loved London... I want to go back!
Thenardier, I have seen Les Mis twice and I absolutely love it, it's one of my favorite musicals. But this time, I only have 4 days, so i opted for shows that I haven't seen. If I had a couple of days more, a revisit to Les Mis would be guaranteed !
And Jim, I have been to both theatres before and I agree with you, they are very beautiful !
Take care
did you have to pay a huge fee (more than TM) for seetickets?
REPoRT BACK ON BILLY!
Madame X, seetickets charges around 1,50 British Pound more than the ticket price ! I think it is even less than Ticketmaster ! It is not a ticket broker, but an official ticketing system that logs on directly to the theater's box office from what I understand. It was an alternative booking option to Ticketmaster from the shows' official sites !

I just came back from London last week! I was lucky enough to see Woman in White (amazing show. So great!) Mama Mia (again, good) and Mouse Trap (non-musical, it was still fun though). We had great seats for all three (5th row orcestra.)
I hope you have fun! You should love them!
Oh and if you get the chance to see We Will Rock You, go for it! It's usually on their TKTS.
Hmmmm, I see that We Will Rock You got quite a few suggestions, so I am really tempted now.
NYCisHome, so you think that there is a good chance I'll get a decent seat for a Thursday evening through the tkts booth ? And how are the lines, compared to the ones in Times Square ?
Take care

london tickets are much easier to come by in leicester square, you shouldn't have a problem with we will rock you..
i expect a full report on billy.
My mom called me and told me she booked us tickets for Marry Poppins, Lion King, and Guys and Dolls! I am waaay excited.

Yeah write some reviews.
You should defintly be able to grab decent seats for WWRY. The line is defintly not as long, plus, if you need to there are plenty of other discounted stores all over the sqaure.
I bought the tickets for WWRY through TKTS, and though we didn't have great seats, they were not bad at all.
If you like Queen music, you'll love it. I promise. Plus, there's tons of funny jokes throughout the show.
Have fun.
Just my opinion... WWRY is in my TOP 5 of the worst shows I have ever seen. If you like Queen then go and see it. If you don't care so much about their music stay away from that show. The music is great, the plot and the show stink otherwise.
QM
If you don't like Queen music I can how it could be bad. However, I thought it was a hysterical show. But then, I am a huge Queen fan too...
