Been wonderin where that little dynamo has been and see she is in Bye Bye Big Guy! Wish I could see it! Please post if anyone goes to see it. Where are the other talented original cast members of the Hairspray first national tour??

focusingonmoviesmatt updated his post and deleted what he said. That's why it doesn't make any sense. He said something along the lines of "Carly wasn't in the Original Broadway Cast, she was the 3rd Broadway Tracy, but she was the first Tracy on the National Tour."

She was a fantastic Tracey, but she was let go on Broadway after missing lots of performances due to a lot of after-show partying. Hope she's gotten rid of that habit by now..

I hate when people post wrong information! She was not let go from Hairspray! SHE left on her own because of a vocal condition. Write a letter to the producers and ask them! Even Marc Shamain posted on here stating the truth about her departure. Know what you are talking about before you start typing away! Best of luck to Ms. Jibson she is beyond incredible!

This was meant to be a positive and congratulatory thread for a young performer whom I believe has a great deal of talent, and I had not heard anything about her in 2 years, so I am glad to hear the positive. I can do without the "mean-spirited". Let those among you who have not sinned cast the first stone!
I still think that the first Hairspray tour cast was loaded with amazing triple threat performers. Just wanted to send my best wishes to one of them. Again, TapTap, thanks for the update, makes me want to see Cry Baby even more. Saving now for a ticket!

Do you actually think anyone on the HAIRSPRAY team is going to tell the truth publicly in this situation? They all drink the same kool-aid and spout the same spin in cases like this.
