what is your favorite cd that a musical theatre person has out (cast recordings not included)? Mine is "Midnight Dreaming" by Anthony Warlow (Vocal God). It is a great cd to have with that special person, cuddling together. It has musical theatre and classic songs (including the best version of "Unexpected Song" EVER) and the way Anthony sings it just makes you want to grab someone and give them the biggest hug. Ok, now that I am finished, what is yours?
either Barrowman's "Reflections From Broadway" or Chuck Wagner's "Chuck Wagner". I'd include Anthony Warlow, but that's just too easy and ought to go without saying.

Daphne Rubin Vega Unreleased, without a doubt. Amazing.
Ready for the obvious?
Adam Pascal's Civilian.
Thank you.
I would have never guessed that Emcee.
I love Adam's first CD, but Daphne's is the absolute best. Have you all heard it?

I'm going to go with Matt's choice and say Chuck Wagner's cd. BUT, I also love Emily Skinner and Alice Ripley's Unsuspecting Hearts.

I haven't listened to enough of them to really judge, but Kristin Chenoweth's Let Yourself Go is great all around, and Barbara Cook Sings Mostly Sondheim, while not as even, has great highlights.
No munk, I haven't heard it
Susan Egan's "So Far..." yes, you knew that was coming. I love the woman.
Also Linda Mugleston has a great CD out... "It Goes Like It Goes." what a voice she has!
You should, it's fantastic.
Yup. I've heard Daphne's. Love it.
And you all need to buy Civilian. NOW! *points sweetly to signature*
Love Kristin Chenoweth's Let Yourself Go, too.

Uh, Munk, a lot of people refer to her on this board as Cheno. It's not being disrespectful, Emcee wasn't calling her "Cheno" to her face. It is a nickname.
Please refrain from using all caps, as it is yelling.
All fixed, munkustrap. It's okay - he's allowed to yell at me.
jwei - Civilian. NOW.

Ooooooooook. Back to the topic at hand. I would also have to plug in the rest of Anthony Warlow's cds (That man can do no wrong) as well as Linda Eder's "Broadway My Way."
I'd like to plug Brian d'Arcy James' newly-released Christmas CD. It's very different from the normal BDJ Broadway fare, but the man gives some amazing renditions of beloved favorites, and his original songs are surprisingly good.
