One day I'll produce a semi-autobiographical musical that will have devoted, die-hard fans in this forum. So far, I have the synopsis and am searching for a playwright (writing partner) and a lyricist/composer. It's poignant and inspirational.

Michael Bennett, I'm not familiar with BROOKLYN or IN MY LIFE, but it'd be a dramatic piece with songs and music. Act I and Act II are actually two chapters in my family's history, a drama in which I was a featured character. If I could stage it now it would be relevant, as it is also a commentary about U.S. foreign policy. But at its core it's about two familiess who found each other, almost serendipitously. It's got war, death, and sacrifice. The idea came to me when people kept telling me that my story would make a good book. In fact, ten years ago there was a woman who was interested in writing a book about us, but nothing ever came of that. And Kringas, no, my real name isn't Stage Manager II, but I guess you already knew that. I'll keep you guys updated if my conception ever makes it to the ninth month, so to speak. As I see it, my baby won't be due for many years, with the vision I have planned in my head.

This thread gets more and more confusing.
