Obviously you have
Nobility
Tranquility
and a Sense of Honor
that is very rare, indeed!
Woof Boom!
Break a leg - this is such a fun show with enormous warmth - may your audiences be full and your dressing room warm.

CONGRATS!!!
It's a really fun show to do, especially with friends.
Type_A_Tiff: There's nothing hard about her. Broadway_star_tomorrow: Yeah. Her arteries.

Posted: 12/22/04 at 1:43pmYou're going to have so much fun with this show. I played Linus a few years ago and it was amazing. I hope you're doing the revised version, it's MUCH more fun and the material is a lot better.

Posted: 12/22/04 at 5:47pmI need some material I can use to convince our director that we should do that show next year. She is aprehensive because of the small cast (because we are a public high school and she doesn't want to have to cut anyone) but it seems like it would definitely be doable. And a lot of people here seem to have performed this show, so what are some advantages and disadvantages to doing this show compared to a bigger cast show?

Congrats!
I also was just recently cast as Snoopy in the revised edition of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. I've always admired Roger Bart, but only after rehearsing as Snoopy did i really get the full of effect of how HARD the role is. The entire show is altogether very challenging. The premise seems so simple, but there are some REALLY difficult harmonies in some of the songs.
Anyway, I'm really happy about Snoopy and I really can't wait to perform because it's such an awesome role!

we actually worked on the kite song last night and OMG it was interesting, I have to sing and run in place, that confused me.
but we did Bethoven(sp) day last night too so it made up for it

Posted: 12/29/04 at 11:59amBack in High School we didn't do it as the Big Annual Musical (that was left to Dolly and Birdie and the like). Instead, we created a special production in the Theatre Class that we then sent out to the grade schools in the area. Gosh, the kids loved it and when Snoopy did the Rabbit Hunt he went out and grabbed kids out of the audience. Much giggling. It was also the first live theatre experience for most of them.
