If the show is set to open in NY on Oct. 31st, when would you predict that it would be previewing in Seattle? I go to school in Seattle, but I go home for the summer. Lets hope it starts soon! :)

i was keeping my fingers crossed for chicago... oh well... come to think of it, CHicago has no room if the Color Purple is settling down here... any way, those of you in seattle, ENJOY IT!

Most likely it will be there mid July-mid August.

Since I'm in LA I'm happy it will be in Seattle..will make for a nice weekend trip rather than having to take more time to go to Chicago.

Funny, I live in Seattle but go to school out-of-state. It seems like I'll probably have a good chance of being in town while it's playing, but I guess we'll have to wait for them to release the dates.

This will be very interesting, especially since the Paramount has no experience in producing shows. They solely present tours. I don't even want to think about what the ticket prices are going to be like.

yeah, it seems strange that they'd go to the Paramount instead of the 5th Ave. I'm surprised that the Paramount would be willing to give a month or so of time to the show since they're really the main Seattle venue that gets all concerts and special events. Hmm, we'll see...

We'll see if it's true, though. The Paramount hasn't officially announced their season yet.
