I would assume they would repeat what worked for The Producers. If available, the Cadillac in Chiago as the hotel is right next to it so it is very convient & could be considered their lucky charm

They want the entire cast of the workshop to do the show - EXCEPT Cloris Leachman. They decided it would be better not to have someone from the original movie. Plus, she's eighty years old and they want to be able to have the character do some vigorous stuff.

Rumor is they want Andrea Martin for the role.

the producers tried out at the Cadillac Theatre in Chicago, not the Palace.

It's the same theatre. The Cadillac Palace Theatre

The Palace was its original name. GM (Cadillac) paid for the naming rights . Snap your fingers & it becomes the Cadillac Palace Theater - an old vaudeville warhorse

And for a while (at least in the 50's and 60's), it was the Bismark Theatre, because it was attached to the Bismark Hotel (now the Allegro).

using that fabulous SEARCH feature would have brought up a minimum of 7 posts who in their subject line have Young Frankenstein, Frankenstein, or YF in them.....all about this show.
And there are a multitude of other posts that discuss the show.....
