Posted: 4/12/05 at 12:55pmWe know this is supposed to be Mel's next big project. My kid heard this and asked; "Is it going to be staged in glorious black and white?" You have to wonder!

Posted: 4/12/05 at 2:23pmI agree that with a lot of topics that are overly discussed, you should use the search function...like the 8millionth Wicked thread....but every now and then people can choose to reopen a conversation about something exciting and upcoming. It's okay guys, talk away!

Posted: 4/12/05 at 2:59pmI cannot wait for this. Young Frankenstein is my favorite Mel Brooks movie. I never saw City of Angels-what did they do to make it look like it was in black and white? Was it just black and white costumes, sets, etc or was there something else to it?

Posted: 4/12/05 at 3:06pmThey had split dual worlds going on -- a screen writer in Color and his film characters in Black and White. There was one change that was AMAZING where everything went from color to black and white almost instantaneously -- pretty incredible.

BSO- I am just doing my part to save bandwith.

Jacob,
We've had some other conservations about bandwith...if you use your search engine, you should be able to find them.

Posted: 4/14/05 at 6:11amRead the entire previous thread that was posted here. Nobody mentioned the concept of the musical being staged in "glorious black and white," (no offense). So my question was still germaine.
