Anyone want to join me to double our chances? I believe the cutoff is 4:45 to enter your name for the 7PM show.
I want to catch this show before Sutton and other leads leave, and I'll be away this weekend, so this is my final chance.
Did I hear that they offer lottery losers balcony seats for the same price? Are they worth it? I can't find the thread. Without any other kind of rush or TDF it may be my only option.
Thanks!

Although I can't help you with the lotto, I sat in the balcony when I saw the show. I kinda liked it because the show is so flashy, you got a great view of the special effects. You weren't THAT high up, an the faces weren't THAT far away. The balc is good, so if you end up lottoing on your own you should be fine if you lose.
Good luck!

Ouch, thanks for the heads up. Did you find this info somewhere public? Also, any idea if it'll be the Wednesday matinee or evening? If it's the matinee I could switch and do this tomorrow evening. I'm away Thurs-Sun though.
If I can only see Sutton or Megan (since I'll probably only see this once), any suggestion?
Thanks!

Posted: 7/1/08 at 9:18amIf you can only see Megan or Sutton, I say Megan...I've seen the show with Sutton's U/S and she is very good, but I couldn't imagine the show without Megan. Just my opinion

Thanks--do you know about tomorrow NIGHT, or just the matinee? Because Mike wasn't sure.
And if you could only see the show once, would you rather see it without Megan or without Sutton?
Thanks for the help!

if your only going to see Young Frankenstein once I would not miss Sutton Foster. Megan is great but she is not in it the whole show. So you would not be missing much. But see it with Sutton no one comes close to playing her role but her.

Megan was out when I saw the show too. I would’ve loved to see her and was a little disappointed at first, but once the show started I didn’t miss her too much because Elizabeth is not in the show for a great length of time. She pops in in Act 1 for 5 minutes, but after her song she’s gone. Also, Heather Ayers (u/s) does a great job. I’m glad I saw Sutton. It’s not the greatest role ever, but she’s on stage much more and no one rolls in the hay better than her.
Good luck with the lottery!

I'd rather see the show without Sutton than Megan. Megan will be leaving the show August 3rd to go back to L.A. to shoot her new TV series (which hopefully will be picked up), and so it's unclear as to when Broadway will see her again. Sutton is already on board with the new "Shrek" musical, and although she's amazing as Inga, when are you going to see Megan again? Despite having a small-ish role, she makes it amazingly memorable, and she's HYSTERICAL.
Go for Megan.
