Who has been the youngest person to win or get nominated for a Tony Award? Have any child actors ever won, because my friend asked me this today, and I was suprised when I did not know.

I'm pretty sure he was 10. Daisy Egan was 11, I believe.

actually, Daisy opened in SG at age 11, but won the tony at 12.

Did anyone see her in James Joyce's THE DEAD, back in 2000? IBDB says she played Rita, a music student.

Patty Duke is the youngest person ever to have her name above the title of a Broadway play.
Also as a side note she is also the youngest person ever to have a television series bearing her own name.
