I think Alan Cumming is 100% wrong for the Beadle.

I would love for Lovett to be played by Imelda Staunton, and Turpin to be playbed by Len Cariou.

EMMY ROSSUM?!?! Did you SEE the Phantom movie?! Well, I shouldn't say that. I'm one of those, obviously, who did NOT like her voice nor her portrayal of Christine and basically I think she sucks the big one. My roommate says, and I quote "She would BUTCHER Johanna". And she's right. Get someone who actually has some talent.

There will be no other Sweeney for me than George Hearn. He rocks my socks and touches my heart. I love that man to death. Patti would also be great in the film as Mrs. Lovett, as would Neil, but I don't really feel the need for the movie because I have the concert DVD and that's basically perfect. Why fix it when it aint broken?
