Rent. It's the musical that really got me interested in theatre and it will always be my favorite.

Rent soundtrack (signed by cast members)
Rent OBCR because I can't live without it

My parents have a bunch of cast albums on record that I grew up listening to, but I guess Annie would be my favorite because I practically wore it out. I just recently discovered the OBCR of Gypsy with Ethel Merman in their collection, which was interesting mainly because for years I thought my parents completely hated Sondheim.

I'm partial to my Sweeney Todd OBC because it was my first Sondheim experiance and my RENT OBC because.. *can't think of a good way to explain this without rambling*...I feel like it's become part of me, if that makes any sense at all.

I totally understand. If it's the first one you got then I know that it's like your baby. Also that show affects most people on a deeper level.

The original 1969 concept/concert album of JCS. It's been a huge part of my life since I can remember and it was one of the very few (I think 2) shows of ALW I can stand. The cast is phenomenal and the sentiment through the rood. No cast has ever matched this ones.

My '91 Les Mis Paris Cast Recording. Taught me more French than six years of actual class did. In all seriousness, though, I think it has the most amazing cast...

My 'Beauty And The Beast' Australian cast recording. It took me a very long time to find it, and it cost three times more than the average CD, but I have it now, and I'm VERY pleased. ^_^

i was blessed to get to grow up in the same community as ashley brown. she went to my church till she left for college to go to CCM and still visits and sings, of course. she is so sweet and humble. we email back and fourth occasionally and i was so excited to get to see ashley in "on the record" in atlanta and as "belle" in beauty and the beast. i cry every time i hear her sing. even when i was a little girl.
anyhoo, just wonderful to hear of someone else who thinks she is amazing. can't wait to see what her career holds. :)

theatrically yours,
