"that's pretty much Ashley Brown's problem. She's got a lovely voice, but Celia Keenan-Bolger, Erin Dilly, et al. have the same and are more dynamic."

I don't think that Dilly has the voice that can transfer to any role...hence dropped as Millie for Sutton. Boring I can understand, though don't agree with, but her voice can fit almost any part since she can sing belt and legit equally.

I love the arrangements they made to the songs. Amazing! I think if you go in thinking its a revue or a show choir show you might enjoy it more.

This is the ONLY show I have walked out of before intermission.

It came through Dallas a couple of seasons ago with Ashley Brown (who was as boring in this as she is in "Mary Poppins") and Kaitlin Hopkins (from "Bat Boy", replaced Emily Skinner and she was the only shining spot in this show, but completely underused).

No set, hardly any choreography, and the weakest interpretation of classic Disney songs ever to hit my ears.

I enjoy the CD when I am in the mood to listen to fluff but I was not too fond of the actual show. I spent way too much. I mainly went to see Emily Skinner but of course she left the tour before it came here (probably for good reason). Ashley Brown has a pretty voice though.

Oh I just loved OTR. Ashley Brown IS amazing. I have seen her in OTR, BATB and MP. Just a gorgeous voice and a charming actress. I hope she goes far and doesn't get herself too much into the "Disney" typecast. I think she'd be great in other roles. Would love to see her branch out.

Anyway, enjoy the CD. The arrangements and orchestrations are fantasic and the supporting cast, including Meredith Inglesby (who is currently Babette in BATB and will be joining The Little Mermaid) was a member of the quartet. Great voice there, too.

Oh, and I've met both Ashley and Meredith and they are both SO sweet and humble!!!

It was a simple review. I think the CD is great and shuold of had no plot line, just music, which could work.

That's what I think, as well. I love the On the Record versions of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "Prince Ali," among others.

One time, Patti LuPone punched me in the face...

It was awesome.

I just got this CD from my office and I am enjoying listening to it! I haven't listened to Disney songs in a while, so it's like a walk through memory lane, to be completely trite.
