Maybe ZANNA can fill the theatre that BROOKLYN will vacate. The sooner the better...

Posted: 11/1/04 at 11:20pmwell... Bombay is still playing and Dracula is still playing. Brooklyn had the best change in grosses from last week. we're living in a world where good is bad and vise versa. i blame slang for initially reversing the two years ago, using "bad" as slang for good. it was only a matter of time before they became interchangeable.

Posted: 11/2/04 at 10:13amWait, you don't really think Zanna is coming to B'way do you? It couldn't sell tics off B'way, what makes you think it can on? I wouldn't hire the shills for that one anytime soon.

Al, I agree, I was surprised when I found out they were actually going through with the move from Off to Broadway but they've been reworking the show and it looks like it's going to happen. They've add/deleted songs and changed some things around. They did a performance of it out in like PA a while back, so yeah, if something drastically goes wrong, it should be making the move. I don't know when but it's in the works too.
And Spence, because Brooklyn jumps in percentage one week doesn't mean it's being successful. A successful, new show is either selling out or close to it. Brooklyn at this point is hanging on and that's far from being a success.
ETA: I just saw the link below about this move but in PA, it was a lot longer, I *think* there was an intermission and some of the cast members were different.
