I swear I searched the boards for old threads about the same day discount both at Lincoln Center and was not able to find an old thread to bump. Does anyone know if people start lining up prior to when it opens and what kind of lines to expect on a Saturday? Any information would be appreciated.

I highly doubt there will be any large crowd, particularly on a Saturday.

At first I thought you were being helpful, then I woke up. Thanks. A lot.

You're not fully awake then.

You asked if there would be long lines, and I said I doubt it. The discount ticket booths besides the one in Times Square don't attract a large crowd. I can't imagine the new one at Lincoln Center would be any different. I did make one mistake. I meant to have said "even on a sat." not "particularly."

I swung by the booth on Tuesday around maybe 3 or 4 in the afternoon just to find it and there were less than 10 people there.

Good Morning! That's the Singtopher I am familiar with...and thanks for your help. I'm just so used to the nasties on here making fun of everybody else that I rear too much in to the language. Once again...thanks. I have to see South Pacific before it closes.

One more question....has anyone purchased tickets for South Pacific at this discount booth and what do they cost (ie 20% vs 50% off). Thanks!

Just in case anyone is curious about this facility....I went today to get discount tickets for South Pacific tonight. I got there at 12:15 (it opens at 12 noon) and there was no line. The tickets were 50% off and each one cost $62.50. The seats are in the LOGE (mezzanine) first row, section A, 104 and 105.
I had some trouble finding the atrium where the box office is located. It's actually across the street from what I would consider the campus of Lincoln Center. It's on the east side of Columbus Ave between 62 and 63 STs.
