a favor for a friend...

I had a question and I was wondering if you guys could help me with it...

If I send a SASE to Wayne Brady at the Chicago stagedoor...do you guys know if I would be able to get an autograph or something? My best friend and I went to go see it last saturday and she's a huge fan of his...but his understudy was on. She was really disappointed about not getting to see him or get his autograph...and I was hoping to get one for her for a Christmas present but won't be able to get back to NYC in time. And if it is in fact possible to get one, could someone tell me how to address it? Her dad (who's also a fan) has been sick I know this would make both of their holidays...thanks so much in advance!

re: a favor for a friend...

If you want, you could send it to:

Mr. Wayne Brady
c/o Ambassador Theatre
219 West 49th Street
New York, NY

i can't guarantee that you will get anything back, but all you can do is try.

when I was like 7 I used to do it all the time - it's actually kind of impressive sometimes what people will send back. When I was in middle school I wrote something to the cast of you're a good man charlie brown, and Kristin Chenoweth wrote me a letter back. It was funny, because then when I finally got to meet her at the Wicked party, we got to talk about it and it was REALLY humorous.
