what are my chances of getting two DRS tickets for tonight at TKTS? have they been avaiable lately even though it's Christmas? also, is DRS available at the Seaport location?

my little sis & bro-in-law are coming in town tonight, and i am trying to figure out options...

As far as I know, DRS has been doing very well lately, so I think the chance of getting tickets from TKTS are slim to none on a Friday night during the holidays. Your best bet might be to try to get the $40 rear mezz seats from the theatre (you still have a great view), although even those may be sold out.

Don't they do a lotto? I heard, though this was some time ago, that the DRS lotto was very easy to win.

i actually won the lottery once. it's not hard to win, but for an out of town visiter, a guarentee is a better option.

and when i won, they were front rows. they aren't any more, right?

The lotto has undoubtedly been more difficult in the past few weeks with more people playing, although it is mainly the weekends that draw in the crowds. There are also less seats available than when they did front row because now the lotto seats are in the boxes. If you're looking for a guarantee, the rear mezz seats are always your best bet.

I'd say your chances are very small, especially considering Lithgow is leaving the show sson and may be drawing in last minute fans.
