Gah. Adamgasm! I have theories about Adam too, Emcee. (most involve Anthony but that's another matter). He does look funny in a suit...like a teacher...

I've always been more of an Anthony girl, and when I read that I had a big 'Awwww' moment, and then had the urge to give him a hug. I'll wait in line though. :o)

Posted: 9/25/05 at 8:03pmJust kidding, of course. But I think a lot of Adam's fans eventually feel the same way you do, as in giving him a consoling hug, because he seems to be a very emotional guy who reacts to things strongly. There's a lot of sadness in some of his own songs.

Posted: 9/25/05 at 8:24pmYes you do! Model Prisoner is stylistically varied, with quiet songs and rockers, some country touches, even a little Caribbean feel on one song. Civilian has stronger songwriting and is more unified, also darker. It was mostly written shortly after 9/11 and reflects that difficult time.

Yeah, everyone who doesn't have Adam's albums should buy them... they're amazing. I'm sure others could give a better review on them... but I suggest getting "Civilian" first. He sorta found his sound on that.
And about the article... it took way too long to read (I didn't enjoy the writing style), but I loved the things he had to say. And WOW to Adam in a suit. I saw his performance from earlier this year on the "View" where he wore a suit (the pic from the first page)... and he looks so much better in this one. I <3 Adam!!

I just read about Civilian on the sh-k-boom site, and I may have to buy it tomorrow.
I have other stuff that I need to pay for tomorrow (Sweeney Todd tickets!) but if I have enough left over, I'll probably order it. :)

Thank god he owns more than one suit... that brown one was dreadful! He seemed pretty uncomfortable, like they made him wear the suit too...

Alright, I was just amusing myself w/ a hypothetical convo... lol. But, yeah... this suit is just so much better. And if you have to... save up for the CD, very worth it!

Wonderful interview. I <3 Adam to the ends of the earth. That interview just sent me into "aww" mode for a few minutes, especially during his little "Anthony gush" bit. Excuse me while I try to regain some form of composure...:-P
PS. Come back to the stage Adam! The day I could see him perform live is the day I could die a happy girl.
Just thought, take that pic of Adam in his suit and put it in the pic of Tracie, Idina and Anthony and he could be part of of the Natural Born Killers. 
God I love them all. I'd pay my left kidney and pancreas to get ahold of that picture and put it up somewhere in my room for me to squee at.
