I know these posts are annoying to some but hey I'm doing it anyway.I want to go to The Stonewall Inn while I'm in town late May and my sister suggested we have Sunday Brunch near there on our last day of the trip.I've googled it and found two possibilities, Buvette on Grove St and Joseph Leonard on Waverly Place.Does anyone have any comments on either or a different suggestion?  Thanks everyone

Haven't been to the other spot, but Buvette was wonderful. Lovely atmosphere, service was great, price I can't speak to since my cousin was kind enough to treat me that day but ti didn't seem too bad. Enjoy!

I have two recommendations, both within walking distance of The Stonewall Inn. The first is Phillip Marie. They have a great brunch special that includes unlimited mimosas or bloody mary’s. All for under $30.

The other is Cuba. I’ve only been there for dinner, but I know they have brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Update: Oops, looks like Phillip Marie raised the brunch prices to $36.95. Still a bargain when you factor in drinks.

After much deliberation I made Sunday Brunch reservations at Phillip Marie. I still want to try the others on future trips. I will report back after I return. Thanks again for the advise.

Good choice. I really like that place. I like to get a window seat so I can people watch while eating. They also have limited seating outside in front if weather permits. I recommend the build-your-own-omelet as part as the brunch special. Nothing groundbreaking obviously, but good food that is well prepared. They also accept OpenTable reservations if you collect points like I do.
