There are some. I love Wicked, I wouldn't say that it is the best show in the world but it is a good show.

For many reasons:

1. We are all bitches here. Every last one of us.
2. Most people on these boards can't stand Wicked, partially due to the show itself but mostly due to the 20 million threads and fangirs/bois.
3. A lot of people are rabid about the search feature.
4. You don't capitalize, punctuate, or exercise good grammar.

Seriously. I'm surprised there hasn't been a "March of the Witch Hunters." Maybe everyone is too tired to care anymore.

Here's the deal:

Don't speak so broadly about the show as if it was the first time it's been performed. People are very hostile toward the show, so keep the general stuff off the main board.

well i'm really sorry. i do have very good grammar but i usually just don't care about my spelling, punctuation, etc when i'm on the computer. this is my first time on the boards and i didn't know starting a harmless thread would upset people. i'm sorry

Let me try to say this nicely...

Not everyone likes everything, as I'm sure you know. Well, that also goes for Wicked. Sure, you may know a lot of people who like it here. However, we also like to discuss other shows, such as SWEENEY TODD or THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. You know, stuff like that. THe issue with Wicked is that threads keep popping up over and over again about it, and it's teeny-bopper fans always somehow manage to get onto this board and say that it's the best show ever when they've only seen Wicked. How can they know it's the best show ever when they haven't seen any other shows?

Now, by your other post about the show being a favorite of yours like PHANTOM and TITANIC, I believe that you have branched out a little. But please. Just try to refrain from discussing W*cked as much as possible.

Now, for your qustion, yes. I am a Wicked fan, but I don't think it's the best show ever.

Okay, well since you are new I will say it nicely.

Learn how to spell and use punctuation, or you will be yelled at.

Don't start threads about Wicked, or you will be yelled at.

thank you for at least putting it nicely. i actually have had a lot of exposure to broadway shows. i've seen "the producers", "titanic", "wicked", "cats", "the lion king", and "phantom of the opera". all of them were very good. "wicked" was just the most recent one i've seen...i guess that's why i started the thread. what are some shows that people like to talk about on these boards?

Don't be put off by people. Wicked is one topic that many posters on the board abhor, but if you have a legitimate, interesting, and/or previously unasked (within a reasonable amount of time) question about the show, go for it.

I like Wicked, but I am VERY sick of all the threads on it.
