Has anyone been to the Orange County Performing Arts Center? Probably not, but its worth a try. I was wondering how the Tier 3 seats are. I'm guessing they're pretty far away, but can you still see the actor's faces and everything? Thanks!

It is very far away. That is a huge theater ( but one of my favorites)

It's certainly got one of the most unique and original designs for a large hall I've seen - and the acoustics are pretty great. I'm excited to see how the new symphony hall turns out.

My fondest memory in that theater is seeing Carol Channing in Hello Dolly. Her curtain speach was devine.

So is it still worth it to pay 25 dollars to sit up there?

I've been there for two concerts for field trips. We sat in the back...WAY BACK. But the view was pretty good.

Ditto to what everyone else has said. I love OCPAC! It's a great place to get my fix of Broadway shows. LOL! I'm a season subscriber there for that reason. :)

Did you go to Movin' Out? i went today-err yesterday, well the 8th, evening performance. i'm not sure if you were aware of this, but there was a man selling FRONT ROW tickets for as low as $30. That's how much my sis, friend, & i paid for. We seriously were in the very front.
Also did you go to the stagedoor at the end? if you were, then you probably noticed me...
