Hey People

I'm going to be working with a theatre camp this summer, and one of my classes is preparing for auditions...I'm looking for suggestions for kid-audition-rep...ages 5-12 boy and girl. Any ideas? thanks!!!

The Secret Garden - LOTS of great stuff for either

For really young - look at the "family" shows that have been on B'way recently - "Chitty", "Mary Poppins", etc.

Also, for lesser done material - look at "An American Tail" and "All Dogs Go To Heaven" (esp. "Home To My Heart." as well as "Oliver and Co."

"Lyle" by Charles Strouse also has some great stuff

Madame Morrible: "So you take the chicken, now it must be a white chicken. The corpse can be any color. And that is the spell for lost luggage!" - The Yellow Brick Road Not Taken

All that comes for mind for younger girls would be "Castle on a Cloud" from Les Mis or maybe "I Know Things Now" from Into the Woods. I don't know if that helps at all, but it's all that I can think of...
