I posted this on the off-topic board but didn't get any responses, so I'll try here. Normally I don't have a problem finding songs, but I want to make sure I cover all my options because I really want to be in Hair, and I want a principal role in Cinderella.

At the end of February I have 2 auditions. One for two shows, Kiss Me Kate and Hair. I need two 16-bar songs, so I was going to do one more traditional soprano piece, and one contemporary belt number. For the first I'm pretty sure I'm going to do "My White Knight" from The Music Man...but I can't think of anything that will show off my belt, and be appropriate for "Hair". So if anyone has suggestions for that, I'd appreciate it.

Also, I'll be auditioning for Cinderella. I really want to be a stepsister, so I was thinking of singing a comedic high belt song (probably 32 bars required). Thoroughly Modern Millie has been suggested, but the only song I know from that is "Gimme Gimme" which I can sing very well but I'm not sure if it's the right style (I've never heard/seen Cinderella except when some girls did "Lovely Night" at the camp I worked at this summer and it was adorable). Any other suggestions for that?

Thanks.
