audition song help

my friend is auditioning for a show and he needs a comic song that shows his range. they suggested that it be more of a classic broadway song than a modern pop broadway.

any thoughts?

I have actually seen a male audition with Tits and Ass from A Chorus Line to prove his comedic prowess. He got the part.

ooh all good choices. my friend was told my someone else that you should try and stay away from sondheim. he was thinking of using a song from forum "i'm calm"

It's cheeky, but I think the idea of a guy using "dance 10, looks 3" is kind of genuis. Love it.
