sorry if this has been discussed but,

If avenue Q does the Vegas thing will it still stay open on Broadway or will it play exclusively in Las Vegas?

Discusssed previously...tentatively planned that it will stay open and continue running on Broadway with another cast..... while the current Broadway cast goes to Vegas for the first three months of the run to launch it there - and then return to Broadway.

No, it won't be exclusive to Las Vegas. It's still a Broadway show, so it'll stay open in New York while running concurrently in Las Vegas.

And like IssaMe said, the plan is to have the original cast perform for the first three months in Las Vegas. Then they'd return to New York, and the replacement cast will fill their shoes in Las Vegas.

They have to build the theater first. I'm not sure how long that will take.

so the deal is they're gonna build a new theatre for avenue q and have it become a permanent vegas fixture like "efx"?

i heard they were doing the same thing with POTO...
