I went backstage at wicke dthe other day and saw the way she flies and the trap door where she melts its really small.
That's great! How did you get backstage?
My friends and I were taken back stage by Marc Platt, who happened to be there because it was the first performance after Tony Noms. We got to see all the props such as Elphaba's broom, the green bottle, the trap doors, Glinda's shoes etc. It was a great experience.

I know it IS terrible not being in NY. I lived about 4 hours away, 2 and a half maybe now that I'm at school. Oh well if all goes to plan I'll be moving there for graduate school in a couple of years.
btw Hi...this is my first post be nice to the newbie please :)

Haha I live across the country from NY! NOOOO!
And welcome WickedRentHead. Hope you enjoy yourself here!
It's okay, I live in NYC too and you don't do half the things you say you'll do once you get here, trust me - that's what happened to me.

Hey. I have been backstag as well. Is that all you saw? Cause I sure saw a lot more, a lot lot more.
Why is everyone making it sound so easy to get backstage at this show? Should I just show up a little early and ask someone to let me backstage? How does this work?

In my case, we just got lucky that Marc Platt happened to see us, and talk to us. You can get backstage if you know someone, or if you make a donation. I'm not sure what the minimum donation is, but I think I've heard it's pretty costly.
