There there is no BARE "soundtrack," as you say. There is a "cast recording" of about 11 songs. It's just a sample CD, and they don't sell it. You download them for free from the website.

Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:23pmi know there is no "official" soundtrack and i have the sampler but a friend of mine has the entire show from itunes and i wondered if anyone knew how to find it...
re: bare a pop opera#3
Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:25pmThe entire show was never recorded! Your friend probably has a bootleg audio recording of the entire show that she put onto her itunes for her ipod. Just because something is on your friend's iTunes doesn't mean they sell it in the iTunes store...because they don't.

thanks anyway
re: bare a pop opera#5
Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:28pmHoney, trust me. That's impossible. It does not exist.
re: bare a pop opera#6
Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:35pmmunk...you can also get it at sh-k-boom.com or whatever the website is...it's a"Free" sampler cd you just pay $2.50 shipping
re: bare a pop opera#7
Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:36pmIt can't be on itunes because it would be a bootleg and I'm pretty sure itunes isn't allowed to sell bootlegs right?
re: bare a pop opera#8
Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:40pmi will ask her how she got it but i remember her saying there was a boot floating around on itunes maybe they shot it down by now who knows, not me obviously hehe no worries though its not important and not "valid" so...i was just curious to see if it was there and stuff like that anyways thanks for the input guys!
re: bare a pop opera#9
Posted: 4/4/05 at 5:51pmOr like i said you can go to Sh-k-boom.com and order it for free with $2.50 shipping instead of getting a most likely illegal one

re: bare a pop opera#14
Posted: 4/4/05 at 6:06pmthe sampler on sh-k-boom.com is the same one on bareapopopera.com except on the bare site you just download it straight to your computer and on sh-k-boom.com you order the songs on a cd. so you could download it for free or pay 2.50 for shipping. unfortunatly, this is the only available recording of bare (that is legal anyways).

Posted: 4/4/05 at 6:21pmi have a---oh never mind---can't say so on here....
re: bare a pop opera#16
Posted: 4/4/05 at 10:44pmi don't have the show on cd...they need to record the full version...even if it is dead, it deserves a recording with michael arden, and John hill.

I think you are all stupid. This is the dumbest thread I've ever read - why don't the high schoolers amongst y'all talk to someone in the cafeteria instead of via the computer? I'm sure someone else (besides the dodgers and rosie o'd.) have heard of BARE. And if you are no longer in high school - shame on you. Get over it. The show is not going to happen - the ARTISTS (maybe you've heard of those?!?) have moved on - why haven't you???
Go see RENT or WICKED (I hear Idina is doing the matinee on Wednesday - WHOO!!) and be healed. Much love.

re: bare a pop opera#21
Posted: 4/5/05 at 2:12amstarlyricist people were only talking about the music..i don't recall it being a crime to not forget about past shows...but if were all suppose to forget about bare maybe you should change your icon.

Guys, that was written with tongue firmly in cheek. I was just kidding
I think BARE's music was amazing - and my sincerest (truly) wish is that the experience here in New York (aka the disappointment over the lack of a commercial run) does not sour the writers into continuing to write for the stage.
Sorry if I ruffled feathers - late night, early morning and all.
