Theres a huge range of parts in BATB no matter your color.
Comic relief is leFou and Gaston (comedy)
Then theres the father who is both loving and zany (Maybe a comedy mono about love)
Beast for really deep actors (i agree with a "vulnerable" mono for that part)
Belle if you can be both extremely happy and extrememly sad (Mono that has a sudden change of feeling maybe)
My HS did it and it was a ton of fun...Good Luck!

My HS (same as La Vie's) did it, Its such a good show for high schools. HE completely right about his stuff though. If you're looking at Lefou, Gaston, Maurice, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Babette i'd go with a comedic monlogue. For someone like belle or ms. Potts i'd go with a sentimental sort of piece. Then for the beast i'd go for a dramatic "I hate the world monologue."
But its so much fun I played Lefou and had a blast.
