behind the iron mask cd

The cd for the london flop behind the iron mask comes out october 17th. I could only find negative reviews for this show. Would it be a waist to get this cd or has someone seen it and enjoyed the music?

A waist sits above your hips. A waste would be a recording of Behind the Iron Mask.

thanks but that wasn't an answer my question. I didn't ask for a spell check

that WAS your answer, and he answered it correctly.

Most of us here have issues with people who cannot spell or speak their native language.

Rather than get offended, THANK the man for caring enough to correct you.

re: behind the iron mask cd

and just based on this....

"Behind the Iron Mask opened on August 2 but has been panned by critics. Starring former Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson, it was due to run until November 5."

and this,

Reviewing the production for The Stage, Mark Shenton branded the masked prisoner as looking “like a cross between a Halloween pumpkin, Shrek and Hannibal Lecter.”

Sorry I loved the 3 Degrees in the 1970's, especially hearing them live in Amsterdam.....but in a musical........one of them, uh no......

re: behind the iron mask cd

She's not renowned for picking winners - 'Always' (flop), 'Thoroughly Modern Mille' (flop), 'Behind the Iron Mask' (closed in three weeks). Her biog in the programme all but started with the words "cower before me, puny mortals" as an introduction the most puffed-up two-page ego trip I've ever seen - though it's telling that she doesn’t actually feature on the 'cast' CD.
The music in the show was the equivalent of beige wallpaper in a room with a beige floor and a beige ceiling. The production just about had entertaining flop value with campy performances and the fact the man in the iron mask looked as though he had a turd on his head, but it's not reflected in the dull pedestrian music.
