ok we've talked about best belters, duets, singers etc. now let's mention those great ensemble or group numbers that are filled with harmony and power. not just songs that happen to be sung by ensembles but songs that actually have meaning. some of my favs are...
the devil you know-side show
the new world-songs for a new world
hear my song-songs for a new world
heart and music-a new brain
i feel so much spring-a new brain
gods love nubia-aida
louder than words-tick tick boom
and you have to love the harmony in i wish i could go back to college from avenue q.
any other harmonies that just floor you every time you hear them? almost everything in songs for a new world does it for me.

Blue Wizard, that is definitely a powerful number, to say the least!
Also, "Audition" from 42nd Street. It's just amazing to be so in sync.
And also...I think "Everybody's Got The Right" is a very intense number.

my favorite ensemble numbers would probably have to be La Vie Boheme, and Law of Genetics from a New Brain. Yay for ensemble songs.
Now, as far as harmonies that make me tickled pink...no one yell or throw things but "shiz"...that little 30 second song has amazing harmonies. Haha, I love it.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05
