the head carpenter at the oneill was told to cancel the start of the load inon thursday because the lead had not signed. it is being held up until that signing. could be cancelled if she doesnt sign but he told me that he was told that was a very slight probability. something to keep an eye on.

as of right now, she still hasnt signed. equipment is all just sitting in the warehouse. it was supposed to truck out today.

Raison in the sun is going into the Royale. I believe localonecrew said it was going in to the Shubert. They were going to use Gypsy's sets and perform on their off night.

they started pre-rigging today. she hasnt signed yet though and things are still up in the air but it looks as if they are gonna push forward

other than the raisin in the sun mistake which was a shubert theater, not THE shubert theater, name one.
1. marissa going back into hairspray? she was working on it and had seriously planned to do it until other obligations appeared.

2. kathy leaving harspray on may 2nd? as of now, that is stil the plan

3. pope in all shook up? true

4. caroline or change star not signed? true, and the load in was put on hold until yesterday afternoon.

5. daphne being almost 40 when she appeared in rent? true

she rehearsed for it and told the cast and crew she was going to do it. she closed the show 8 days before what was supposed to be her first show.

Hang on a sec, I'm a little confused. Is Tonya Pinkins most likely going to play Caroline again, or someone else? Which show is Bernadette Peters apparently going to be cast in- Raisin or Caroline? Sorry, it was unclear.

The Tonya story has pretty well been reported by now...what hasn't been reported is that she has just signed to go on contract at "All My Children" in her previously played role of lawyer "Livia"...she completed a brief stint on that soap during the recent Michael Cambias murder trial there - but then was off the show.

She did quite a number of "All My Children" scenes while playing in "Caroline" at the Public - so she is able to handle both assignments. She's a terrific person.
