hi  I just want to know why the  new shows are not making  cast recording  of they shows

Cats isn't making a new cast album because there's really no need. This cast isn't profound in a way that deems recording it necessary, and the production isn't necessarily new or innovative. It's the same old Cats that everyone knows. They probably wouldn't sell enough copies to offset the cost of making the recording, since there's little incentive to buy the new recording when the old one does the job just fine.

The OP said why are new shows not recording cast cds, not why doesn't the new Cats revival have a cast cd. Did you even read the OP's post

Good catch. I got the word cast and cats confused, and I know this person has posted about wanting a Cats cast album before so I just went with that. Thanks for clearing that up.
