Excellent singer who moves well; disco diva with dynamic stage persona, capable of holding an audience in the palm of her hand with just her voice alone. Belt soprano (Donna Summers, Patti Labelle, Glory Gaynor type, etc). Doorman – (late 20’s to 30’s), African American leading man. Strong acting skills; dynamic singer who moves well; tall and handsome, with a bodybuilder’s physical appearance. Warm and charming, but can be an S.O.B. when he needs to be. Straight-looking gay male, attractive to men and women. Lyric baritone. Acrobatic skills a plus but not necessary.
The Kid - (late teens), juvenile actor, young enthusiastic hip kid, singer who moves well, sharp witted attractive kid, gay, sense of humor, confident and assured with an air of innocence, contemporary tenor
Diva – (30’s), Female singer/actress/dancer, beautiful and stunning. She was the star of the disco floor, but time and heavy partying are beginning to show. Still has all the goods, but they are fading. Sharp witted, with a tongue that goes with it. At heart a romantic. Strong belter w/ high notes.
Kitten – (early 20’s) Female singer/actress/who moves well. Dynamic and sexy in an innocent package, but underneath is a tigress wanting to pounce on a "willing" victim. Strong belter.
Stud – (30’s), Leading male singer/actor who dances. Handsome and sexy, with lust in his heart for anyone in a skirt. Wants to settle down with the "next" girl he meets. Charming and suave. Lyric baritone (John Travolta type).
Paul Jabara – (40’s) The king of disco. Singer/actor. Bouncy, mischievous Lebanese American boy from Brooklyn, with a wild side for the outrageous. (Paul was in the original company of HAIR, and he was the original King Herod in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.)
