Big Mama will be played by Margo Martindale, a wonderfully talented character actress of stage and screen probably best remembered as Susan Sarandon's roommate, Sister Colleen, in DEAD MAN WALKING and as Mrs. Latch, the babysitter for Julianne Moore's son, in THE HOURS.

How many times will they revive this? I know it is a great show but enough is enough. What about some of his lesser known works like "The Red Devil Battery Sign" done off broadway ?

I am surprised they didn't get a bigger name Big Mamma, but I hear good things about Martindale.

I saw the posters outside of the theatre the other day and all I can say is WOW! Ashley and Jason make a STUNNING couple...almost as gorgeous as Liz Taylor and Paul Newman!
