Charlotte runs through June 12.
Tracy Shayne is Roxie June 13 through June 21. (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!)
and Paige Davis is Roxie June 22 through August 8th.

Posted: 4/15/04 at 9:26pmRoxie on the tour will already have been re-cast at that point. Bianca Marroquin leaves after the Knoxville, TN stop. (ie: the end of the month). As for the shows longest running Roxie I think it's between Charlotte and Belle Calaway (who is still covering the role).

Did you ever see Nana Visitor in the show? She was amazing. I saw her twice. Does anyone know what she is doing now?

Maybe after the Knoxville, TX stop the tour will then transition to Non-Equity?...or sometime thereafter? Troika does have it slated as part of it's upcoming show roster.
and I enjoyed Nana as Roxie. She got a lot better on Broadway, after her touring days. Really grew into the role and looked great.

I think it's still slated to be an Equity tour after Knoxville. I don't know who else is leaving besides Bianca.
As for Nana, I saw her on Broadway... maybe if I had seen her on tour I would have had more of an appreciation for how she "grew into the role." She was one of those actresses I liked the first time I saw her, but after that, couldn't wait to see someone new in the role.

Whatsonstage.com is now saying Marti Pellow will appear on Broadway from August 5 - September 5th. Don't know how reliable that is, but I'm sure we'll find out over here soon enough.

Posted: 4/16/04 at 7:33pmI think the tour is going to stay equity and first class national for a while longer. It is still making mega money and he Weisslers will squeeze every penny possible out of it. And I even ventue to say that when the day comes ( hopefully years from now) when the show finally goes to close; they will send out a "farewell" tour. Oh yes CJR will be seeing it again :)

Yes. And it would also make mega-money in it's Non-Equity incarnation. I have a feeling that after the summer, it will switch over. I notice a lot of non first-run cities (for tours that is) have it on their schedule, and that is usually a sign. Or the NET could always start up while the Equity tour is still running (which is what happened the last time with the show.) Chicago is always so unpredictable...though some could argue otherwise

Bianca's, as all cast members' contract ends in May the 2nd, but it doesnt mean Bianca or any other is leaving the tour. Its not sure Bianca will continue touring or not. Ill let you know as I get some news!! =)
