children and the tonys?

it seems like there was a ton of kids on Broadway this year.

A Christmas Story had a bunch
Matilda
Annie
Chaplin
any in Kinky Boots?
Cat on a hot tin roof
Elf

does any body know how many kids appeared on broadway this season? john rabe and Crawford with no noms..

There were around 60 kids in Broadway shows opening this season . There are 4 in Kinky Boots. Pippin, Drood, The Assembled Parties, and Motown are other Broadway productions featuring kids.

I was surprised by Lilla's snub. I definitely thought she would was a front runner for the nominations. Now it seems bizarre that the Matilda girls are being recognized for a special Tony when they do only 2 shows a week each, while Crawford did not get recognition while she's doing 6-8 shows a week (with an alternate).

I think TONY org better get on their haunches & include Lilla & standbys alongside the special Matilda girls award.

That would be nice if she can join them. I have tickets for Annie so it is unfair to say anything yet, but I was a little suprised too.
