And REALLY dated (a woman has to act stupid to land her a fella!) and written for a non-singer!

She's already done "I Think I May Want to Remember Today", so I assume she has heard of the show; but "Crossword Puzzle" is more "funny funny" I should think.
Anna, you might consider telling us how old you are. You're getting suggestions that could be hysterical if you are 20-something, but not 30-something, and vice versa, etc.
The funniest audition I ever saw was by a girl who worked with an arranger and came up with a medley of 30 or 40 Sondheim songs in 2 and a half minutes. Each song had something to do thematically with the one before and after it.
Once she started, NOBODY was going to interrupt her by calling "Thank you". We all wanted to see where she was going. And, yes, she absolutely got the part.

Always True to You in my Fashion by Cole Porter
Two Dolores Gray numbers are not only funny funny but great songs and powerhouse audition pieces.
"If.." from Two on the Aisle
"Thank a Lot but No Thanks" from the movie It's Always Fair Weather
Two Nancy Walker numbers also worth considering:
"I Can Cook Too" from On the Town and "Adventure" from Do Re Mi.
