Yes, it was me and over 70 or so seniors. The music was great. The way the movie was filmed, Jonathan Price, showing Kevin his life. ehhhhhhh I did not care for it. The make up for the old Kevin was ghastly. I do like Kevin Kline very much. Who was the actor who was in the show in the scene where he wrote the sone that the actor hated and later Monty fixed him up with him. The opening night he was driving the horse drawn carriage. He spent the night with him. He looks so familiar to me. Does anyone know? anyone? anyone? Remember the teacher in Ferris Bueller? ha ha

It was great. Kline deserves an Oscar nomination.

I thought the film was beautiful. I know it wasn't exactly acurate, but this was a musical. They don't always tend to be. Taking it for what it was then, I found it to be thoroughly entertaining and a joy to watch. I adore Ashley Judd (I always have) and she did a truly fantastic job as did the rest of the talented cast. The last 20 minutes had me crying and the very last scene had me sobbing.
