Sorry if this has already been posted, but I just read it this morning. My heart stopped when I read it. Is anyone else as INSANELY excited about Ms. Field taking on this role as I am??

I wish someone would release on DVD the production from years and years ago of All the Way Home in which Ms. Field appeared opposite Mr. William Hurt LIVE ON NETWORK TV from the Old Globe (if memory serves). Can you imagine something like that happening today? Not till Hollywood cometh to Dunsinane.

She was damned good -- hysterically funny -- last year in THE GOAT.
But did anyone notice the other casting? Patricia Clarkson in STREETCAR. Good choice. Loved her in FAR FROM HEAVEN, and in STATION AGENT, now out. She may find something fresh in Blanche.
