"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Ok, let me get this straight. You want to boycott a cast recording from a show that isn't going to happen (at least not in the immediate future) because a jukebox musical that flopped big time didn't get a cast recording.

You are so right. Let's boycott The Wiz!

Bryan...you're thirty three and somehow you've never been acquainted with our good friend PUNCTUATION???

The show has closed. You have to understand this. They are NOT going to make a Cast Recording of a show that flopped...especially if it has closed. The market for the CR would be virtually nothing. Even Beach Boys fans won't buy a CD of the musical if they haven't seen it.

The Dodgers aren't doing so hot in the money situation currently. It would be an utterly stupid decision for them to waste money making a CR that wouldn't bring a profit. If you want to fund it...fine. But stop acting like you're going to make this happen the more you post. NO ONE is listening to you.

FOA, I was going to make the already-closed arguement, but they did make the Taboo recording after it closed, and it flopped. So...

"The market for the CR would me virtually nothing"

It would BE virtually nothing as well.

Yes, but Taboo had a very close cult following. Plus, it was Rosie's decision to make the recording since it was her money. It wasn't a big company's decision to make the CR, it was hers. She wasn't going bankrupt...but the Dodgers are headed in that direction. GV doesn't have nearly the following that Taboo does...plus Taboo did last longer than GV did.

Way to support Broadway. Lewser.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Flop or not, Taboo had an original score. You can get all of the songs in Good Vibrations from Beach Boys CDs, so why record it if it's such an audience flop?

re: dodger theatricals inc

Plus, a cast recording was announced and recorded BEFORE Taboo closed.

Bryan, get a grip.

If the Dodgers are producing THE WIZ, I guess we can already expect it to flop.
