wut r u guys talking about? the book is really good! i think its really interesting how elphaba goes to live with sarima (fiyero's wife) i kno the musical was better, but still the book is good

NO WAY!! Wicked was a political book and it takes a brain to understand what they're saying, which you lack!! No offense.

They're talking about the book of the musical (the play/libretto, which is not very political at all), NOT the novel by Maguire. Different things.

Though Wicked may not have the perfect book I think there are worse books than Wicked. DRACULA THE MUSICAL for one. The new ending was a brilliant showcase of Bad Book Writing! And anyone who has seen the musical NOTRE DAME DE PARIS knows how badly a book can be adapted for a stage musical...

I also felt the ending was cheap. Elphaba happened to have a trap door in her house that she slipped through when water was thrown on her. I think it would have been alot more powerful if she actualy died.

I liked the book. But my opinion doesn't matter since you seem to have it all down.

And I never saw the play, or had anyone tell me about it, and I knew the clear meaning of animals and Animals.

CheapColoredLights, I am not reffering to the novel that the play was based on. I am talking about the script used in the play. Book is a theater term for a script of a musical excluding the music.

It is terrible. Wasn't it nominated for a TONY? So glad Q won that instead of Wicked.
