i think this acualy could work as a musical because dragon ball have a lot of songs so many that thire released full albums with songs only as for the action i think you could do the same as thire did in spider man turn off the dark i think it would be a pretty expensive production but since dragon ball has a big fanbase think it could be a hit oh and sorry for the bad english

Dragon Ball Z doesn't have nearly as big of a fan base as Spider-Man does.

I don't know who would take it seriously enough. I picture it as a show that would visually interesting, but the score and book would be awful.

I grew up watching Dragon Ball and can tell you that there is no way it could ever possibly work in any live action format, let alone a musical. Have you ever seen Dragon Ball: Evolution?
