re: earthquake in LA.

the official location, according to the USGS was 4 miles SSW of Chatsworth. It struck at 12:58 AM with a 1.6 aftershock recorded at 1:16 AM.

As a lifelong L.A. resident who has been through every major quake here since the Sylmar one in 1971, I can tell you that a 4.5 is really nothing in comparison.

I now know where the location of the Big Brother house is because the earthquake happened at the house during the live feeds!

re: earthquake in LA.

The Big Brother house has always been on the lot at CBS Radford.

re: earthquake in LA.

Yeah, only a few parts of LA can really be called, "scenic" and they are few and far between. Love the weather though. Hate trying to drive anywhere in that town.

So did it roller coaster or just jolt? We have had some really good ones up North but they stopped, just like that. None lately. I love the call in shows though after an earthquake. I don't think we can take anymore real big ones up here. They are still re-building the Bay Bridge, so you keep those quakes down south please. Plant some trees, buy some paint, just do something.

I know it's the Desert. Plant a few more cactus pls? Ha,ha, get some of those neon signs like they have on Broadway! That ought to make it look real pretty !:p
