Yeah... she's still out. Lookin' to 'get out' is more like it. Oh don't mind me. I'm just bitter because I have tickets to see it tomorrow night. But I've already seen it twice with her. And to tell you the truth, I wasn't overly impressed anyway. So, maybe her stand-in will surprise. Unfortuneatly, the friend who I'm going with tomorrow night hasn't seen it, and was looking forward to seeing Errico. I'm really over this "vocal chord strain" crap. And less than one month into the shows offical run. Maybe she shouldn't be on Broadway if it's too strenuous for her.

Why does anyone hire her? She had major vocal problems during "My Fair Lady" a few years ago. And frankly, she's not that great of an actress. She must work really cheap.
well i have tickets to Sat night. Any predictions if she be back then?
My guess is that she'll probably be back in by Friday. But that's just a guess. Good luck! I'll let you know how her understudy was. At least I'll be able to compare.

OK...talked to about ten different people...most of them say Elizabeth Loyacano is as good or better than Errico. Just FYI.
Word has it that she's out for more than just this week...but, we all know how "word has it" statements tend to be.
What's surprising is that she didn't miss any performances of "Finian's Rainbow". Obviously it's a different style of music, but maybe Wildhorn's music just doesn't fit her vocally well.
I saw the show on Tuesday night of last week and Elizabeth Loyacano went on as Mina. She was absolutely fantastic as Mina. I had wanted to see Errico do it, but I was pleasantly surprised when her understudy went on. Let us know how everything goes.
I will agree -- Elizabeth is just terrific. Vocally great & very warm, inviting way about her that makes you really CARE what happens to her.
Saw the show last night and I'd have to agree. IMO Loyacano is even better than Ericco. Her singing is as good, and she's a much better actress. They should tell Errico to take as much time as she needs and not to hurry back. No one seemed to care that she wasn't in it anyway. The one difference that I noticed was that Loyacano did not bare her breasts in the seduction scene. It didn't look like she had much to bare anyway, so just as well. And good for her if she refused.

she didn't refuse. errico's costume just fits in such a way that when the clothes come off, her boobies are covered. =)
