Does anyone have any suggestions on small digital or tape recorders for singing rehearsals/lessons? I was looking at the Olympus DS-330 Digital Voice Recorder that I could get for under $100. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I kind of like the idea of using a tape recorder that isn't digital. That way, you can put different lessons on different tapes, without the worry of running out of space. Also, you can tape your song accompaniment, and you have the option of playing the tape on a real stereo. Otherwise, you're stuck with whatever small sound output the recorder is capable of.

I have a regular little tape recorder, but when I've used the digital ones, I have found the sound to be much truer. It depends on your priority.

I prefer minidisc recorders myself. Then you can store them on your computer or CD if you want. And you can still keep different discs for different lessons.
