Sup Broadwayworlders! I'm doing a show on Sunday and if you're in the city, you should come check it!

THE JOE ICONIS ROCK AND ROLL JAMBOREE
Sunday Nov. 25th @ 7pm
The Laurie Beechman Theater

Pain in the ass writer Joe Iconis returns to the Beechman, bringing with him his merry band of musical theater punks. THE JOE ICONIS ROCK AND ROLL JAMBOREE is a laid-back evening of Iconis tunes, featuring cuts from Joe’s recently-orphaned musical “The Black Suits,” and a bunch of new songs. Songs of hate and hope, suburbia and pornography, cougars and jailbait, dead people and livin’ things and more sing-alongs than you can shake a glass of whiskey at. Some surprise special guests will join Joe for this, the first and only stop on his legendary “Ain’t No Funeral” Tour 2007. So come on down to the Jamboree- it’s loud, soft, sweet, nasty, and, above all else, bloody as hell.

The cast includes Iconis-stalwarts Jason “SweetTooth” Williams, Annie Golden, Lance Rubin, Krysta Rodriguez, Matt Hinkley, Katrina Dideriksen, Brent Stranathan, and The Kissin' Kazoo Sisters: Liz Lark Brown and Sarah Glendening

There is a $5 cover and a (sorry about this) $15 food/drink minimum. (But you know perfectly well that if you smile at me I'll buy you a drink and probably some nachos, too.)

Funny story - my friend and I tried to call up and reserve seats for this about five minutes after we saw the very first press release, and were told that the event wasn't even in the system yet. We are clearly over eager and will be there with bells on.
